3 women killed by drunk driver leaving Long Island Suite 16 party

Long Island Authorities have confirmed the deaths of three women, who they say died after their car was hit by an alleged drunk driver. The trio was leaving a sweet 16 party.

Dante Lennon22, was behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz sedan when he t-boned a Lincoln Town car in New Hyde Park around 11:11 p.m. Saturday, which had a ride-haul driver and five other passengers.

The Nassau County Police Department said the crash happened outside a venue in Jericho Turnpike.

Three female passengers boarded the back seat of a city car and were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Others in Lincoln have been taken to nearby hospitals, and are listed in stable condition.

Lennon has been charged with one count of DWI and three counts of murder. A resident of Freeport, Long Island, was also taken to a local hospital for treatment for a non-life-threatening injury.

Police have confirmed that he is expected to appear in court once he recovers.

A law enforcement source told The New York Post that the women who died left a sweet 16-party party in New Hyde Park.

Surveillance footage shows Lincoln’s driver slowly turning left onto Jericho Turnpike when the Mercedes bumps into it, sending two flying cars down the road.

“Right now, I see a Mercedes-Benz coming, colliding with an Uber driver that was spinning,” said a Table 7 employee, according to CBS2. “It looked like T-bone, somewhat, and it was devastating.”

“It’s very disturbing, I’ve never seen anything like it in my life,” said Witness Jillian Augustine. “[W]Why would this happen? I can’t believe it. “
