Another mass shooting hit an American city and young children were again the victims. The news has just broken that Uvalade, Texas can now be added to the growing list of cities that we will never forget is a place where evil has improved and innocent blood has been shed.
Mass shooting at Texas Elementary School kills 14 students and 1 teacher
Fourteen Rob Primary School students and a teacher have been killed by a 19-year-old man who has not yet been named. Preliminary reports from ABCNews said the gunman entered the school with a handgun and possibly a rifle, but this was not officially confirmed at this time.
The gunman was not killed, but was killed by police. Shortly after 2 p.m., parents were told that all students at the school had been transferred to Sergeant Willie Dalion Civic Center where they can reunite with their loved ones. Police in Uvalade told a news conference that the dead were in the second, third and fourth classes.
The Houston branch of the ATF is currently investigating the situation in addition to the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, and local authorities. We will update this story with more information as it becomes available
