Brown frankly admits that he intends to “stay calm.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Brown also talks about the tragic loss he has suffered in his life.
He did, however, publicly mourn the loss of his ex-wife, Whitney Houston, and not one, but his two children with drug overdoses (Bobby Christina in 2015 and Bobby Jr. in 2020), but Brown’s grief actually began at a young age.
The singer shared that in her childhood she struggled with the loss of her grandmother and then with the loss of her childhood friend Jimmy. He credits music, with which his grandmother introduced him, as a means of coping.
“But it actually started when I lost my grandmother,” Brown says Cassius. “I am about 10 or 11 years old. He was like my best friend. She was my best friend. It was my grandmother who introduced me to music, who realized that I was special in music. So, it started with her.
“I didn’t want to let him go, I was relaxing in the music and performing on the talent show,” he added. “It was something that helped me recover from his loss. After that, I fell whenever I suffered a loss. Music. I find comfort in that, you know?”
He also opened up and shared about dealing with the pain of so much loss that keeps him focused.
“It seems unfair,” admitted Brown, who compared the mourning to “moving away a small part of it.” “But through prayer, and knowing my God, he does things I don’t understand. She — she will not give me just submission to internal pain. I will always find that inner peace because of prayer. “
