Devon Franklin Joins Hit Lifetime Show “Marriage at first sightAs an expert in the upcoming season.
On Thursday, Franklin shared news of his upcoming business venture with his Instagram followers. The Franklin Lifetime Series will be joined by regular relationship advisors Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Calvin Roberson and Dr. Pia Holek. Four experts will guide the couples in the new season.
In his post, Franklin reveals that the show came to him before he broke up with his ex-wife. Megan Good. He added that the show had told him that his divorce “didn’t matter to them because they still felt I could help their couple.”
“I was going to say ‘no’ to them because I was embarrassed, and that voice in my head said, ‘You failed. How can you help them save their marriage when you don’t have to,'” wrote Franklin. What will ‘man’ say? Will ‘man’ approve or reject? And then I had to ask myself: will I spend the rest of my life like this? What does ‘man’ say out of fear? I went back to the team and told them yes, I will still come. I refuse to live in fear or shame! “
Franklin filed for divorce from Megan Good in December 2021 “for irreconcilable differences.” The couple got married on June 16, 2012 and have no children together. The former couple met on the set of the 2011 film “Jumping the Broom” and got engaged in May 2012.
