Famous fashion designer Jason Woo is no stranger to Target Collabs. In 2011, Wu dropped a limited-edition clothing collection for retailers that sold out in less than twenty-four hours. Now, Runway Maven is back to the mass market retailer, but with something a little different.

In January, Wu joined forces with Toni Ko, founder of NYX Professional Cosmetics, to target her bespoke (and this time, permanent) Jason Woo beauty collection, bringing her runway sensitivity to the realm of beauty — and accessible price points for boots. “My brand is involved with the runway, which requires makeup and hair look. Beauty is an important aspect of our art and it’s vital to completing a runway look, so it seems like a normal next step for me, “Wu tells StyleCaster.

As a leading designer who has dressed like Jessica Alba, Jamie King and Michelle Obama, it may come as a surprise to some that Wu’s beauty collections are all under $ 25, but both inclusive and accessible — whenever Jason Wu is capturing the brand. DNA, of course, was at the forefront of bringing the line to market for U and Co. “When it comes to beauty, the market seems to be too saturated, so the customer of that prestige doesn’t seem right to us. Many younger customers are fans of the brand but can’t necessarily buy it Jason Wow, and we thought it was important to reach that audience through this line, and Target has been the perfect partner for us in that regard, ”he said.

While the collection offers a number of skincare products, including Saved by the Patch Pimple Patch ($ 11.99) and Wu-Prime Nourishing Priming Oil ($ 15.99), Ko and Wu are currently committed to focusing on color cosmetics — especially nude, an excessively “less is more”. Underscore by makeup method. Nude tones throughout the collection were carefully chosen for the concept of “more or less” makeup. Jason U brand DNA, which is why the shades extend to product packaging. We wanted to be included, so we expanded the nude range from pink nude to tap and brown, ”he explained.

From advanced packaging to premium formulas and fine shade selection, Jason Wu’s Beauty Drop IMO is probably one of the most exciting things for an affordable beauty spot in quite some time. Kitty Dual & Eyeliner

With this two-sided eyeliner you really get the best of both worlds. Draw a precise wing with a felt tip or go for a smoky eye with a pencil.

“Jason W. Beauty’s The Kitty Eyeliner Intense Black is an absolute game changer !!” One reviewer wrote. “It makes wing eyeliner so easy to apply to cat’s eyes! I also like that it comes with a regular liner to use for under the eyes. It is smudge-proof and lasts all day without the need for any additional application. “

When you use Hot Fluff Mascara, be prepared for thick, flattering, volumeted lashes. There are two versions: one for volume and length and one for volume and curl. However, both are packaged with jojoba oil, castor oil, biotin and vitamin E.

So far, buyers are liking this mascara, giving it a 4.5-star rating on Target. “It really gives my lashes so much volume and length,” one five-star reviewer hated. “I’ve tried many more mascaras, but none of them worked It’s not clumpy and works so well. Hot Fluff 3-in-1 Multi-Stick

Available in 14 truly universal-flattering colors, the Hot Fluff 3-in-1 Multi-Stick has become my new go-to (I like the shade, Eclair pictured above), and the formula has a creamy but cozy matte finish. Seven new shades — saffron, cherry pie, caramel sande, pecan pie, nutmeg spice, strawberry and cream and sugar cookie are equally creamy and stunning. My favorite part about lipstick is that it is designed to be used on your lips, eyes and cheeks, if you will, which really incorporates U’s “more or less” approach.

“I’ve only used it for my lips so far, but like the finish it gives you,” wrote one buyer who gave the product a five star rating. “A very normal look that almost feels like a chapstick, but with a slight matte lipstick finish. Looking forward to playing with it for the eyes and cheeks!
