After nearly two years of social media buzz, the once-legendary ‘Lovers and Friends’ festival has descended on Vegas where thousands of music lovers have enjoyed two nostalgic days in timeless classics, jersey dresses, airbrushed tees and wig melting heat.

Usher, Ludacris, and Lil Jon took the stage together on a 75-minute epic set where they dropped hit-after-hits, including “Get Back”, “Act a Full”, “All I Do Is Win”, and “Yes.” And many more.

Festival-goers complained about the deplorable condition in the scorching heat

While some festival-goers were happy with the experience, there were others who complained about the misery and violence at the 100-degree heat when comparing the new festival to a fire fest.

In several tweets, the sad participants mentioned the lack of cold water in Vegas, limited hydration bus and poor plans for the turbulent situation in Vegas.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, one participant died after attending the festival over the weekend.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified the man as 22-year-old Jacqueline Torres Espinoza without revealing the cause of death.

It came after reports that attendees had run for their lives as the event was reduced to a ‘safety incident’.

Overall, there was a lot of love and hate about the chaotic festival that many people didn’t even believe until it became a reality.
