We are still sick to our stomachs at the violence and bloodshed that took place yesterday afternoon in Uwald, Texas. There are days, weeks, months, and years ahead for thousands of people in that community, and what makes it worse is that it will happen again, and the US government, the Republican Party, will do absolutely nothing about it. They will think empty, and pray empty, then give teachers some advice on the need for arming and firearms training so they can protect their classroom.

19 children and 2 adults have been confirmed dead after being shot dead in Uwal

CNN is confirming that 21 people, 19 children and 2 adults, were killed by the 18-year-old who will remain anonymous. It has been suggested that we shut down the names of these devils in public because many of them want to die in disrepute. As far as we are concerned, their deaths are certain and appreciated but we will not contribute to their notoriety. The incident comes just ten days after black people were killed in a hate crime target at a Buffalo grocery store. The 18-year-old wrecked his car near the school, left the car and headed for the school with a rifle and backpack. He was engaged in school security but was still able to enter the building and shoot.

The families of the victims publicly identify the dead children

Adela Martinez and her husband Paul Martinez talk about their final interaction with their son:

The mother of 10-year-old Xavier Lopez has confirmed the murder of her son and recalled the unforgettable laughter of her fourth-grader. Xavier was a few days away from finishing elementary school, his mother told the Washington Post, and he “couldn’t wait” to be admitted to high school.

Angel Garza went to Facebook desperately to request any information about her 10-year-old daughter Amery Joe Garza:

“She was found dead on Wednesday morning,” he said. My little love is now flying high with the angels above. Please don’t take a second, “Garza wrote.” Hug your family. Tell them you love them. “

Eva Mireles, a fourth-grade teacher, was shot more than once while trying to protect her students:

Mireless has been an educator for 17 years and enjoys running, hiking, biking and spending time with her family in her off-time, according to her profile on the Consolidated Independent School District website in Uvalade.

We hope we still have some faith that these episodes of senseless violence will one day end, but unfortunately, this is not true. The American political system is fully capable but unwaveringly reluctant …
