When the weather clears in the mid-60’s, I find every possible excuse to spend time outdoors — long morning walks, working from the outdoor table in a local coffee shop, and just saving dinner outside with friends are some of my favorite ways. You do not always have to leave your home to enjoy the fun of the sun if you convert your own outdoor space to the warmest place to get time reservation outside. Whether you have a modest porch or a full-on courtyard, there are ways to make the area an area for people to gather and create lasting memories. The first step is to think about how your outdoor space can be a natural extension of the relaxing activities you enjoy indoors. If you like to invite your neighbors for a wine and cheese dinner or boast of your signature cocktails – create a simple but dynamic bar set up outside. If a play night is your thing, expand the feel of your living room by adding a comfy chair, a fire pit and portable floor cushions to your backyard.

Before focusing on what is trendy, it is important that you try with high-quality, durable outdoor furniture and make sure you cover the truth. No one wants to sit on a molded chair cushion so choosing a furniture texture that suits your environment is a great way to make sure your shopping lasts. To maximize your dollars, choose pieces that double the purpose, especially if you are working with a small space.
