On MondayA Jacksonville Lady, Remy McCoy, One was inside BP gas station On University Boulevard N and Fort Caroline Road. He saw a white man, now identified Kevin Troy Williamson, Making racist remarks to someone outside the store. When he got inside, he was constantly blabbering on as he stood in line behind McCoy. When he asked her for some space, she noticed his verbal attack. After a while, he was punching her wildly.
“It simply came to our notice then. It has not stopped, ”he said Action News Jax.
The entire ordeal was captured on store surveillance and showed Williamson punching McCoy violently in the face and head while another customer was watching behind them. No one tried to intervene.
On his Instagram account, McCoy shared that the man said blacks should “go back” to where they came from. He also told the news station that he claimed to have a gun in his car.
McCoy suffered multiple injuries, including a blood clot in his left eye, a black eye, a knot in his temples and forehead, and a cut under his nose. He hopes Williamson, a registered sex offender, will be caught soon.
Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Now looking for Williamson before hurting anyone else.
“I just pray that he is found and held accountable,” McCoy wrote to IG.
