Legend Angels Drive-in movie theaters can get such a glamorous modern upgrade, a Tesla marquee, and an EV charging station that will be open 24 hours a day.
Tesla is reportedly planning to replace Shakey’s pizza on the 7001 W. Santa Monica Blvd. Upgrades include a 24-hour Tesla restaurant, drive-in theater and charging station.
The inspiration came from Tesla owner Elon Musk, who tweeted a visit to a retro-like restaurant in the center of Tesla’s attention in 2018.

“One of the new Tesla supercharger locations in LA will have an old school drive-in, roller skate and rock restaurant,” he tweeted.
The right thing to do Tesla has submitted a proposal to the LA Planning Department for a 9,300-square-foot restaurant, where drivers can watch and eat movies while charging their electric vehicles, the report said.
There is no date for the future meeting of the 1950s restaurant, but it has not been approved by the city.
Looks like the new spot will be the place where you want to charge your Tesla, eat all night and enjoy a movie.
