The form has been created to help discuss the fetal-shaped serial period

A monthly-themed breakfast is now an option for the morning time. Cereals, which feature fetal-shaped flex, begin the conversation about periods at home.

Apparently, wellness brand INTIMINA felt that there was a lack of period conversation between friends and family and so created Period Crunch, a unique uterine-shaped breakfast cereal.

Each raspberry-flavored piece of cereal is designed like a womb and bright red, giving the milk a distinctive red color.

The box also has a conversation prompt and includes a picture of the female reproductive system to help people identify where the uterus is located in the body.

The unusual introduction was inspired by a survey of 2,000 adults conducted by the brand, which found that almost half (48%) of people are too embarrassed to talk about their period. In contrast, more than three-quarters (77%) did not mention their period in everyday family social settings.

82% of people are unable to locate the uterus properly.

Dr Sri Dutt, a gynecologist at INTIMINA, said: “I am delighted that INTIMINA has caught the bull with its horns and created Period Crunch to help raise awareness of the ongoing social stigma surrounding Period.”

“Periods are a normal part of who we are, so it’s deeply troubling to hear that so many people feel uncomfortable discussing them when they are another part of our health.”

“It is heartbreaking to hear that 25% of people have taught themselves about periods when help is available. I’m looking forward to starting the Period Crunch conversation and breaking down the barriers at the breakfast table. “
