Iconic football coach and sports commentator John Madden “Madden” returns to cover after 22 years.
As part of a tribute to the late John Madden, who died last year, Madden Madden will return to the 2023 cover, EA Sports announced Wednesday.
Also, the video game developer will add him to two more covers that will “pay homage to a different chapter in Coach Madden’s unforgettable life.”
“We were thinking about this year’s game and who is going to play it; That’s the decent thing to do, and it should end there. ” “I say this because we really wanted to celebrate the coach on the product this year and what he meant to us by using his name in our game for over 30 years.”
The favorite coach was inducted into the Professional Football Hall of Fame in 2006 as the coach of the Oakland Riders. Since its inception in 1988, Madden has sold more than 130 copies and grossed at least $ 4 billion, CNN Business reports.
EA Madden has announced on the NFL Twitter page that the full release of the covers will debut June 2.
