As social media continues to grow and evolve, it is safe to say that it has catapulted many careers, be it influential, make-up artist or fashion model. Ismail “Easy” Hamid is a model, actor, director and producer. After earning a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Cal State University, she signed on to Osbrink Model where she booked her first paid modeling gig for Sapporo and Best Buy. The move took her to other gigs, including LA Fashion Week and the Lady Gaga Guy video. With the hope of landing more editorial work, Easy Big has set up its sites on Apple. In 2016 he moved to Harlem where he landed his gig with Dolls and Gabbana. She was personally chosen by Stefano Gabbana, who saw her wearing her grandfather Brim Fedora during her casting. This Brooklyn aborigine grew up in a place he described as “the best city in the world.” Growing up in New York allowed his creativity to develop at a young age. Spell Darshae
When we think of “Jack of all trades”, we think of Darshae Spells. While flawless portraits of her image and personality, the black boy may be the pinnacle of joy and fashion, her Instagram has proven that this Tampa, FL native has many more techniques above her sleeve. “I’ve always been interested in taking pictures when I grow up,” said Darsha. He decided that he wanted to take it more seriously and began collaborating with local photographers in his area to create a name for himself. She admits that dancing professionally in high school allows her to feel comfortable in front of the camera. When you walk his IG you will find pictures of him jumping and spinning in mid-air. She started studying and researching modeling and involved everything in it and learned that she needed a beautiful, diverse portfolio to get started. This persuaded him to buy his own camera in the hope of taking pictures of himself. Now he has his own photography business.
